Overview
A calm open pool with lily pads, fish and a cave for divers.
Aktun Ha, better known as Carwash, earned its nickname when taxi drivers used it to wash their cars. Today it is a peaceful open cenote with water lilies, small fish and an underwater garden of algae in the warmer months.
Swimmers stay near the platform; certified divers explore the cave entrance at the far end.
